Welcome Home To The Village of Grafton



All domestic animals brought into the public parks by their owners shall be kept on a leash at all times and under the control of their owners. The owner shall remove all feces left by the animal anywhere in the public parks.


North Park Community Center

On the north side of the village, off of Novak Road and Elm Street, is North Park.

This park offers a picnic shelter, which can be rented (see below), restrooms, playground equipment, and a basketball court. The community room, which is available for rental, is located in North Park, as well as Fire Station #2. The park entrance is lined with trees honoring loved ones and is known as "Memory Lane".


 
 
Community Room Rentals:

The Grafton Community Room and North Park Pavilion are available to rent, rental fees and deposits are:

Community Room - Closing time midnight

 
Resident
$150.00 - 4 hours  (includes refundable deposit of $50.00 if all rules are followed per rule sheet given)
$ 25.00 - Each additional hour
$225.00 - Entire Day (includes refundable deposit of $50.00 if all rules are followed per rule sheet given)
 
Effective 1/27/16- The deposit and rent are due in full to secure/rent a date for the Community Room - Cash or check only-  Hours to complete rental documents are 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri at Town Hall 960 Main Street. Village resident must be present to rent / sign contract. Rentals cannot be made over the phone. To check available dates call 440-926-2401 opt. 2

Non-Resident

$200.00 - 4 hours (includes refundable deposit of $50.00 if all rules are followed per rule sheet given)
$ 25.00 - Each additional hour
$300.00 - Entire Day (includes refundable deposit of $50.00 if all rules are followed per rule sheet given)

Rental cannot be made over the phone. The amount of $50.00 must be paid in full to secure a date.



   

Willow Park and pavilions

Willow Park is located on Main Street at the southeast corner of the village.

The park has two picnic shelters, which can be rented, restrooms,  playground equipment as well as a baseball diamond. This park is host to the Grafton Volunteer Firemen's Festival every Memorial Day Weekend.

Reservoir Park

Reservoir Park is located across the street from Willow Park on South Main Street.  Reservoir Park includes the village's reservoir, four baseball diamonds and a new restroom and concession stand facility. Ball field rentals call 440-865-9611



 

Water Tower Park

The village in conjunction with other area organizations has developed a park by the water tower on Main Street. This park offers an area with benches and a walkway in which engraved bricks can be placed.

Lorain County Metro Parks Trail

The village along with the Lorain County Metro Parks has developed a trail from behind Grafton Lanes on Main Stret, to a trail owned and maintained by the Metro Park System. This trail leads to Indian Hollow Metro Park on Parsons Road.
