Cleveland Street & Barchard Street Reconstruction Project
Village of Grafton, Ohio
The Village of Grafton, Ohio is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified professional engineering firms to provide engineering and design services for the Cleveland Street and Barchard Street Reconstruction Project.
Project Overview
The project includes, but is not limited to:
- Pavement reconstruction
- Removal of abandoned railroad spur tracks
- Sidewalk improvements
- Associated roadway and streetscape improvements
The estimated construction cost for this project is $597,520.
Qualifications-Based Selection
Engineering services will be procured in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Chapter 153 using a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) process. Fee proposals are not requested at this time.
Site Visit Requirement
All interested firms must complete a site visit prior to submitting qualifications.
- Site visits must be scheduled through the Village Administrator
- A minimum of 72 hours’ advance notice by email is required
- Firms must acknowledge completion of the site visit in their submission
Submission Requirements
Interested firms shall submit:
- A Letter of Interest
- A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
Submissions must comply with all RFQ formatting and content requirements outlined in the full RFQ document.
Submission Deadline
SOQs must be submitted electronically (PDF format) no later than:
February 10, 2026
4:00 PM (local time)
Late or noncompliant submissions will not be considered.
Anticipated Schedule
- SOQ Submission Deadline: February 10, 2026
- Consultant Selection by Village Council: February 17, 2026
- Authorization to Proceed: March 2026
