Grafton Power and Light is a municipally owned and operated electric system.  The Village of Grafton is an active participating member of AMP Ohio  https://www.amppartners.org/ .  As a PUBLIC POWER POWER PARTNER, Grafton’s membership dated back to 1973.  Through AMP, Grafton is one of  135 members in nine states – Ohio (84), Pennsylvania (29), Michigan (6), Kentucky (6), Virginia (5), West Virginia (2), Indiana (1), Maryland (1) and one joint action agency in Delaware.  Public partners each develop municipal power purchase portfolios which stabilizes power purchase costs, diversifies power purchase availability and collaboratively develop market strategies, material and equipment asset purchasing and mutual aid.

Grafton Power and Light currently owns and operates 2 electric system sub stations.
