PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE :
MECHANIC STREET RECONSTRUCTION
from Main Street to the railroad tracks by the mill only
There will be a public meeting
THURSDAY OCTOBER 23rd at 6:00pm.,
in the Council Chambers at Village Hall
960 Main Street Grafton, Ohio
The project is scheduled to begin November 2014 and be completed May 2015.
The contractor, engineer and Village Officials will be on hand to explain the project and answer questions.

Village of Grafton Leaf Curbside Pickup 2014:
Village employees will be picking up leaves at the curb the following weeks:
November 3rd
November 10th
November 17th
We will start each week at one end of the Village and work our way through. They will not come back within the same week. If vehicles are blocking pick up, your leaves will not be picked up.

STATE ROUTE 57 PROJECT INFORMATION


This week, the Contractors will continue installing driveway aprons along the west side of SR 57 and intersection pavement at Arbor Court and Fox Run. The Contractors will extend the work zone beyond the Barrington development at the north end of the project and begin excavating for pavement widening on the west side of the roadway. The Contractor will complete the asphalt base pavement for the southbound lane and the turning lane throughout the project and place the asphalt intermediate course. Please use caution when traveling on SR 57 as flagmen, workers and equipment will be on the roadway between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday thru Saturday this week. Thank you all for your continued patience.

Businesses should feel free to link this map on their website to help their customers find them. For residents, all the business are clearly organized by type of business and users can click on the icons to get information on the business such as address, phone number, and/or website. TRAFFIC UPDATE

The one-way phase began on July 14th and traffic will only be able to travel SOUTH BOUND on SR 57 during the remaining project duration.  Cars wishing to travel north bound will need follow the posted detour around the construction.
